This month it's a punk look on the blog. And although this is not the first time that I compose an outfit in this style (which I love), it's a very different version that I show you today.
Indeed, it's with an 80's inspired look that I walked down Charleville-Mezieres's streets. A bit like the rebellious outfits of Cindy Lauper or Madonna at that time. Comfortable clothes and crazy! And as you guessed it, the key piece for this is obviously: the tulle skirt!
The one I'm wearing comes from a small Etsy shop called: Obsequies. It is the creation of a young talented Canadian girl with a quirky universe that I find so great! I'm fan of her looks and her style. She mixes perfectly colors and patterns and I love this little "recycled clothes" aspect for a brand new life of madness. This tulle skirt is my first purchase in her shop and it won’t be the last!
And who says punk obviously said fishnet, nails, chains ... all these little accessories that I have always loved.
So I'm wearing my faux leather underbust from Corset Story with my Poizen Industries spikes bra that you've seen here before. (A few years ago xD)
And to highlight the very colorful style of the skirt that combines 3 colors and two different patterns (hearts and peas) I wear striped socks of different colors.
I'm not afraid to go "too much" and have fun with what I have in my closets and this outfit looks very much like me. There is this rock'n'roll side that stands out as well as the childish side of my personality. The patterns, the little tulle skirt and icing on the cake: my very cute and funny crab bag. Welcome to Darkrevette's mind ;D
So after the calm of the forest I suggest you an urban atmosphere.
I really like this look. I find it super fun. I realize that I'm doing it again in the red and black, ah! (Well... with a touch of white this time)
The video, meanwhile, is right here. The music you will hear sounds intentionally 80s to stick to the style ^^
